Today is National Anaesthetic Technician Day and we are celebrating the many amazing and wonderful Anaesthetic Technicians and Registered Nurse Anaesthetic Assistants across our Group!
Anaesthetic Technicians play an integral role in all procedures where an anaesthetic is involved, and are an integral member to our operating theatre teams. With a diverse role, Anaesthetic Technicians are quick and agile thinkers, who are responsible for ensuring equipment for the people in our care is safe, functional and available.
Every day our Anaesthetic Technicians demonstrate their commitment through the excellent outcomes delivered to ensure the health and wellbeing of people in our care.
Sue Channon, Chief Executive Officer, proudly recognizes the pivotal role that Anaesthetic Technicians have with each team member in the operating theatre.
“Anaesthetic Technicians are vital to all operating teams, from assisting the Anaesthetist and Surgeon, they are quick to respond to unexpected changes that can occur during procedures. They play an important role to expertly care for people of all ages, cultures, and medical status. The work they do is truly outstanding.”
Thank you to our Anaesthetic Technicians and Registered Nurse Anaesthetic Assistants who provide the people in our care with a safe environment for exceptional outcomes.
